| The flower girl, the bridesmaids, or the bride can wear this headpiece. It is the perfect compliment to a simple dress with few details and it helps to lend an air of romance. |
| Measure the circumference of the wearer's head (as for a headband, across the forehead) and add one inch. | ![]() |
| Next, measure that length of an 18-gauge straight floral wire. Cut excess with sharp wire snips. | ![]() |
| Depending upon the size of the head you may need to join two wires together with floral tape. | ![]() |
| Floral tape the two ends together to form a wreath shape. | ![]() |
| Make a tiny boutonniere-type cluster by gathering a piece of greenery, a flower, and a small piece of filler into a cluster and taping it together. (To make the process faster, do all your clusters before assembling the wreath). Tape a cluster to the wire form, starting at the back point (usually where the wire ends were taped together). Again, tape another cluster on top of the stems of the last cluster, overlapping each other, to give a tight, compact, professional look. | ![]() |
| Continue this process slightly alternating, pointing flower heads to the left and then to the right (working from the outside of the wreath, inward), until the entire wreath is full and has a three dimensional look --not flat and one sided. Make sure that there are no gaps showing in the wreath, and that the flowers are tightly bunched together. | ![]() |

| Accessories such as ribbon may now be added. Start by tying ribbon off in the back of the wreath where a bow may be added or ribbon may be woven in and out of the flowers, around the circumference of the wreath. | ![]() |
