| Measure the foam and ribbon, by setting the block of foam on the center of the ribbon. Bring one end of the ribbon up over the top of the foam until the edge of the ribbon meets the middle of the foam. The opposite end of the ribbon should be a little longer. |
| Glue the ribbon to the top of the foam. |
| Hold to secure. |
| Bring the opposite site of ribbon up to the top until it meets the glued ribbon. Glue it down. |
| Fold the ribbon excess over the glue until the ribbon is smooth, and push in a straight pin. |
| Secure with a line of pins. |
| Fold the ribbon back over itself. |
| Add another row of pins. |
| Fold the raw edge of the ribbon under. |
| Fold the ribbon into a loop and push in a pin. |
| Secure with another row of pins... |
| ...or a little added glue for security. |
| Hold up the purse and make sure that the entire handle is in the center of the purse, allowing the purse to swing evenly. |
| Begin decorating; clip all of the flower stems to about 2”. Then glue the ends of the stems to secure them inside of the foam. |
| Push the flower in the foam. |
| The flower’s face should cover up the exposed edges of the foam. |
| Continue to glue and push more flowers into the foam. |
| Keep the flowers close together to hide any foam. |
| Do both sides of foam in the same manner. |
| Glue the heads of the flowers onto the sides of the purse. |
| Hold to secure. |
| Continue gluing on the flower heads until the entire side of the “purse” is covered in flowers. |
| Continue into the same manner gluing the flowers, on all sides, the top, and the bottom (if desired). Hold the flowers in place until glue is set. |

Finished Floral Purse
Note: This purse can be easily done with fresh flowers. Use water packed foam, such as Oasis, and seal the ends of the flowers with a floral adhesive (found in a Florist) to support the weight of the water-soaked foam with a ribbon that is strong enough to support it. |
